Job Summary: The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed timely, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.

Responsibilities
- Enters, maintains, and processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ commissions and bonuses, calculation of severance, retro, short-term disability, and employee reimbursements.
- Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for garnishments, uniforms, and other miscellaneous deductions.
- Reconciles payroll to the general ledger.
- Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills
- Proficient with ADP software.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education, experience, certifications
- 3 - 5 years of ADP payroll processing and reporting experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
